NY Used Cars Get Ready to Leave Dealership as Gas Prices Rise and Shoppers Move to Buy

It is time for shoppers to visit dealerships like those under the Long Island City Auto umbrella to shop for fuel-efficient vehicles before the prices for cars increase along with increasing gas prices.

LONG ISLAND CITY – NY used cars may start leaving dealerships very quickly over the next few months as shoppers decide to add a more fuel-efficient vehicle to their family lineup. With the national average of gas up to $3.84 per gallon, the average is projected to rise to $4.25 by the end of April. With gas prices rising so quickly, the price of pre-owned models may skyrocket very soon.

With dealerships like those under the Long Island City Auto Group label, customers will be able to find what they are looking for.

“We are happy to be able to offer such a large inventory of fuel-efficient models to our customers shopping,” said Paul Passarelli, General Manager of Garden City Mazda, a Long Island City Auto Group dealership. “Our dealership along with the other Long Island City Auto Group dealerships know what our shoppers are looking for, and we are making sure to bring in inventory quickly to get ready for the demand.”

As gas prices continue to rise, the competition for fuel-efficient vehicles will continue to increase across multiple dealerships. Shoppers are encouraged to visit any of the Long Island City Auto Group dealerships to find what they are looking for.
